Throwing Pies and Sliming Principal Pritts!

As a reward for raising $145 for Jump Rope for Heart (the students had to jump rope for 45 min. and collected pledges...and believe me, Katelyn practiced and practiced her jump roping in our driveway), Katelyn was able to throw a pie in her PE teachers face and "slime" her principal.
This almost did not happen. The day before, poor Katelyn came down with strep throat. She had a fever, was vomitting, but luckily has started strong antibiotics. Her teacher and I were e-mailing a Plan B for her, incase she was still too sick to go to school. We knew she'd be devastated if she missed out. Thankfully, her antibiotics kicked in over night and she woke up fever-free and ate a great breakfast. She had another dose of antibiotics, then I nervously took her to school. I would have kept her home if she didn't have this big event, but I really didn't want her to miss it. She did fine and it always amazes me how quickly she bounces back from being so sick!

Katelyn and Brady waiting for her turn to slime her principal.

Here is Katelyn sliming her principal, Mr. Pritts. The slime was actually green applesauce. As you can see, Katelyn was not shy!

Katelyn throws a pie (well, a plate with whip cream on it) into her beloved PE teacher's face. We hear about Coach Mazzola CONSTANTLY!! He was a good sport and she loved doing this!

The other kindergarten students lining up, ready to get their teacher and principal filthy!

All the other kindergarteners watched from the playground.
